Who are "Hire My Camper"?

We are a family owned Campervan Hire based on the Isle of Wight


Despite us being a relatively new hire company, we have a long tradition in the tourism industry on the Isle of Wight. Together our love of travelling and campervans/motorhomes made it an easy decision to combine all the elements into Hire my Camper to enabling others to share in our passion.


We love the Isle of Wight, and we also like to explore the UK and Europe in our Campervan together with our dogs we have ventured far and wide on our travels and always love the freedom and adventure that this brings. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience from our travels and are only too pleased to help with hints and tips to make your next adventure amazing


Being able to travel in a Campervan enables you to see so much more of the places you travel to and really immerse yourself in the surroundings.


We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service and hope our customers have as much enjoyment on their adventures as we do.

So you have decided that hiring a campervan is what you want to do?

Or ring us to discuss your requirements.


We can also book your ferry crossing and offer great deals.

Now to the exciting bit!

Your camper is all booked....


You can now relax and plan your adventure.


Check out campsites and pub stops in the area you want to visit. 


Also local tourist attractions and must see sights.


There are also plenty of apps that help you find amazing places to stay for a night or two


If you need any help or guidance just ask. 

30 Days to go...

The balance of your hire is due 30 days before the start date.


We will contact you to arrange payment and to confirm any special arrangements such as ferry travel or additional drivers. 


If not already done so, we can also arrange a damage deposit waiver to reduce the £1000 excess deposit payable when hiring. 

Finalise the pick up arrangements

We will be in contact with you to finalise the arrangements for picking up your camper.


If you are travelling on foot we will arrange your pick up from the Ferry terminal on the Island


We will also remind you of what documents you will need to bring with you.

Familiarising yourself with your camper

The day has finally arrived


Please allow up to 1 hour when picking up your camper


We will give you a full vehicle orientation so you know how everything works.


There will also be a welcome pack and manual in the Camper to refer to if you need it.

Enjoy the Adventure

You can now enjoy your campervan and make some amazing memories.


Travelling in a campervan and experiencing the freedom to roam where you want. and stay when you want.


Comfy Bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room, and the open road.

All good things must come to an end...

Please return your camper to us before 4pm on the last day.

To add value to your camping experience we are members of The Camping and Caravanning Club Motorhome Hire Scheme, which entitles you to up to 30% off Club Sites and 15% off Camping in The Forest Sites.

In your hire unit you will find a copy of the Camping and Caravanning Club Motorhome Hire Guide, which lists all participating sites helping you to choose the perfect location throughout your entire journey. You can also find details of their sites on the Club website.


When you've selected the Club Site you'd like to stay on, all you have to do is show them the Motorhome Hire key fob, which you will find on the keys of your hire vehicle, on arrival to claim your discount. 


How to Book
To guarantee your pitch it’s best to book. To Book your campsite please call the service centre on 024 7647 5426 for Club Sites or 024 7647 3008 for Camping in the Forest sites and let the advisor know that you are booking under the Motorhome Hire Scheme. A minimal deposit will be taken and upon arrival at the Club Site, your due balance will be discounted accordingly on presentation of the Motorhome Hire key fob provided. Alternatively, you can make a non-member booking online and follow the same process.
